In this 2-hour group workshop, you will produce your very own handmade keychains featuring Dongshimgyeol Maedup—a Korean traditional knot that signifies "two hearts becoming one." Under the expert guidance of fiber artist Nancy Lee, you will practice traditional knotting techniques to create "The Lover's Knot"—an elegant accessory that adds a touch of traditional Korean decoration to your bag, outfit, or everyday life. You will take home your unique creation(s) along with the skillset to keep practicing and creating at home. Time permitting, you may even learn 1-2 additional maedup knots!

Nancy “Nensh” Lee (she/they) of @handmadebynensh is a self-taught fiber artist known for giant knit yarn bags and other handmade creations. Always experimenting with new techniques, designs, and materials, she leads various craft workshops and is a librarian-in-training.
