Empty Shelf is a Bookstore with Curation Hub centered around the concept of playing with empty spaces.

The store will feature Books, Visual & Performance Arts, Crafts, Handmade products and so on.

It’s a space where local creators can enjoy curating and performing in a physical setting, while also being a bookstore and handcrafted gift shop that we build together with them

Located in the charming town of San Gabriel in Los Angeles County, known for its historic Mission, Empty Shelf will open on August 2024 within the former Mission Art Center building, originally a picture framing and art supplies store.

Empty Shelf is designed to be a curation space where creativity flourishes. Our empty shelves are called "Petite Boutique" and waiting for you to fill them with your unique vision and style.

For those who dream of having their own store, Empty Shelf offers a simple way to make that dream come true, even on a small scale.

You can also host small exhibitions and events using our gallery space and floor area. We welcome not only art exhibitions but also small workshops, readings, book launch events, teaching sessions, screenings, and other conceptually intriguing events.
